Pooch Partners offers testing for both the Responsible Dog Owners of Canada’s Canadian Canine Good Citizen™ (CCGC), as well as the Canadian Kennel Club’s Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) certificates.
So what’s the difference between the two certifications? The CCGC was developed in Canada in the late 1980’s, with the CKC developing the CGN some time afterwards. Both are very similar, assessing the same criteria with only 2 exceptions as noted below:
Shelly Korobanik is a Canadian Canine Good Citizen™ Certification Evaluator and we are happy to offer testing throughout the year for the CCGC ! If you cannot make a schedule testing date, no problem – just get one other person to take the test with you and we will be happy to schedule a test session at a mutually agreed upon day/time, just email us details.
We also host the CGN test, at least once per year!
Pre-registration is required for both tests.
