All dogs are welcomed – there is no requirement to be purebred or registered to do either the CCGC or the CGN certification tests.
So what’s the difference between the two certifications? The CCGC was developed in Canada in the late 1980, with the CKC developing the CGN some time afterwards. Both are very similar, assessing the same criteria with only 2 exceptions as noted below:
Take one or take both – it is completely up to you, but please do give your dog the chance to shine and show that he/she deserves to be recognized as a respected member of the community because he/she is trained and conditioned to act mannerly in the home, public places and the presence of other dogs!
Register for one ($30 each) or save and take both certifications ($50 for both)!
